What is SparkServ?
SparkServ is scheduling and payments software for independent electricians and small electrical contracting businesses in the UK. It combines online customer booking, diary and job management, automated reminders, digital invoicing, and card or cash payments in one platform.
How much does SparkServ cost?
SparkServ costs £20 per month per electrician after a 4-week free trial. There are no setup fees. You can subscribe via the app after signing up; the trial gives you full access so you can try the diary, bookings, quotes and payments before paying.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. New electricians get a 4-week (28-day) free trial with full access to the diary, booking flow, quotes, invoicing and payments. No payment is required upfront. After the trial you can subscribe to keep using the platform.
How do customers book a job?
You share your booking link with customers. They enter their address and job type, choose a preferred date, and SparkServ suggests available time slots based on your diary, job duration and travel. The customer picks a slot; you confirm the booking. They receive a confirmation by email or SMS.
Can I take card payments and send invoices?
Yes. SparkServ lets you create invoices from completed jobs and send payment links. Customers can pay by card (or Apple Pay / Google Pay) via Stripe. You can also mark jobs as paid by cash in the app. Receipts can be emailed automatically after payment.
Does SparkServ send reminders to customers?
Yes. You can turn on evening-before and morning-of reminders so customers get an email or SMS confirming the job and arrival time. Reminders are configurable per electrician in Settings.
Is SparkServ only for UK electricians?
SparkServ is built for domestic and light commercial electricians in the UK, with workflows that match how UK electricians quote, certify and get paid. It supports UK postcodes, travel time and compliance-oriented paperwork such as certificates.
